First Day, First Dip

The first day of summer proved to be an excellent day for Miss Eva's first dip in the pool. She had a great time playing with her cousins!

She knew something fun was coming, but just didn't know quite what it was yet.

Happy Father's Day to Eva's daddy! We love you!!

Wishing all of the dads and grandpas and uncles a very special day!

It's been pretty gray and soggy and chilly here the last few days, but the sun is out today and the yard looks so fresh and green. We're looking forward to going out and playing a bit in the warm sun. We're sure the garden has enjoyed all of the rain, too. We'll go take a look and see how our plants are growing and maybe there will be a strawberry or two ready to pick (if we get to them before the squirrels do!).

Sunshine

We've been enjoying the warmer days we've had recently and are having fun spending lots of time outside. Miss Eva is cruising along the furniture like crazy and is really good at going up the stairs as well. She's also quite talkative. She says hi and bye (with a super cute wave to go with) and bunny and puppy (even if she just hears a dog bark she'll say it), and she calls every person, whether 2 or 22, a baby. She says lots of other words and often surprises us when she tries to repeat something we've just said. She gets to be more and more fun every day.
