Different basket, same little girl.


And now, Miss Eva doesn't need any help at all with the basket. She can reach up and take the basket down from on top of the dryer and hauls it around with her--upstairs and downstairs. She'll sit in it (and it makes no difference if it's full of laundry or not) and say she's going camping. She loads it up with dolls and toys and not surprisingly, we've found evidence of crayons being used to decorate the inside of the basket as well.

Mother's Day

What a fun day we had!! We spent the afternoon in the mountains, enjoying a picnic and some playing. The weather was incredible and Daddy and Eva and the cousins did a great job of making sure it was a special day!

I'm so blessed to be this little girl's mommy!

March for Babies

Yesterday was the March of Dimes walk. We weren't sure how the weather was going to hold up, but it did! It was quite chilly at 30 or so degrees with a little breeze, but we were bundled up and thought we'd give it a try anyway. We thought we might just do the shorter, 3 mile, walk when we first got there, but as we started walking, the sun felt good, the breeze died down and Team Eva walked the whole 5 mile route! Eva stayed awake the whole time this year and walked a little bit, as well. It was so nice to be around so many other people walking for the same cause--healthy babies. We realized again how blessed we are to have our little girl walking with us, while others were there walking with only memories.

It was a truly beautiful day. Thank you for walking with us and donating so generously to March of Dimes!
