We finally got a chance to get outside once the smoke had lessened, so we headed to the spray ground.
This is the story of our little girl who was born at 28 weeks 5 days, weighing just 2lbs 3oz. This is her journey and all of her adventures as she grows up.

Title?
A couple of ideas came to mind when trying to decide on a title for this post:
1) All by Myself
2) Stripes
Either way, it's pretty clear that Eva G got dressed all by herself this morning and went with a definite theme

FunFest
Saturday we headed downtown for the FunFest
we hadn't planned on Eva G actually going in the fountain, which was turned on for the season that day, but it was hard to resist when everyone else was doing it and it was getting quite warm. luckily, we had an extra change of clothes with us
hugging one of the many characters running around. we also saw Clifford, but no Curious George
watching the man make our crepes for lunch
enjoying a yummy lunch after a fun morning

Bartleby Finkleton
We had a lot of fun today at one of the library's summer reading programs. We got to listen to Steve Weeks. Eva G loves his song, Bartleby Finkleton. We watch the video a few times a week. When Eva saw him, her eyes lit up and she said, "It's Bartleby Finkelton!" He sang lots of songs for the group, but didn't actually sing Bartleby at this performance. Afterwards, we talked with him for a bit and mentioned that Eva and cousin S were Bartleby fans. He then graciously offered to play a few verses for them acoustically!! It was so cool!! They really liked it and Eva mouthed the words right along with him. When daddy got home she told him we saw Bartleby's dad (which is how she now refers to Mr. Weeks). :) It was such a fun day and we're looking forward to more programs in the next few weeks.

Mountains and Dunes
Our Memorial Day weekend included some time in the mountains, where it was still cold enough that we saw a few patches of snow and ice in the small waterfalls of spring runoff. We also spent some time in some serious sand dunes where the water was cool and the sand was hot.
