Monday Morning Shenanigans

While I was on the phone with my mom, Eva G was up to this...

Poor Lola had to spend the rest of the day out on the deck soaking up some sun and drying out.  Eva G needed to dry out too, but did NOT spend the rest of the day on the deck.

Pixie on 8 Wheels

Eva G went to a pixie skating class. It was a little tricky at first and she wasn't sure she was really enjoying herself. She made it out to the middle initially with the help of one of the nice kids (I'm old enough now, it seems, that anyone college age is a kid!!!) who was teaching the class. Then she made it back to the wall and hung out there for a good portion of the first part of the class. It was the pink lemonade they served in the middle of the circle that got her back out there. By the end of the class, she was certainly more confident and was able to stay up on her skates from the middle of the rink to the edge. We're definitely going back to try it again.

Pocket Full of Posies...Or Not

More like a bike helmet full of cosmos.

Eva G has recently started cutting flowers (with her little scissors!) and bringing them in for us --which has just been super sweet-- but this is what she did today. I found this after she was down for a nap and didn't rearrange anything, just snapped the picture as she left things. Sadly, most everything was wilted by the time she woke up. Good thing there are plenty more to cut tomorrow.

Sunday at the Museum

Didn't get any pictures in the outer space, dinosaur or mummy areas--but those were definite favorites!

Cupcakes

Eva G and I made cupcakes yesterday. She put the liners in, did a little of the mixing and has done a lot of the eating of those tasty carrot cake cupcakes.
