How to thoroughly enjoy a popsicle (Eva Grace-style)

1. once you've nibbled some off the stick, smear it all over the tray (which your mom thought about putting on beforehand, because she knew just sitting you at the table would be an even bigger mess)
2. pretend you're coloring with the melted mess
3. lean over and slurp it up
4. go cross-eyed as you watch orange sweetness drip from your hair

You will then promptly be whisked off to the bathtub where you are sure to create an equal, but much less sticky, mess.

Ok, so not quite as much flip in the skirt as Marilyn Monroe, but Miss Eva sure was enjoying standing on the vent feeling the air conditioner after a very warm afternoon. Boy, has it been hot!

Ah, Summer

We've really been enjoying this summer. Here are some of the things we've been up to:

visiting the children's museum 

(the last time we were here, Eva G was still little and we were still very careful around "germy" places, but this time she took it ALL in--played with, touched, tasted (even though she probably shouldn't have) everything!

enjoying some of the tastes of summer
