Kite.

Yep, Eva G got a kite! She'd been asking for a little while for a kite, so we finally got her one and she's loved it. Of course, there hasn't been enough of a breeze at the right time, but she and daddy did get it to go up for a little bit. She was so excited!

And no kite flying experience is complete without a little tree interference (but we got it out all in one piece)

So yesterday when I was making pancakes for breakfast, Eva was playing with the magnets on the fridge. This is what she did:

Sunday Driver

Today was absolutely beautiful around here. We got out and enjoyed the warmth and sunshine. Eva's still working on pedaling her tricycle on her own--and steering as well!! We loaded up her trike and headed out to a park. Eva G. was definitely one of those Sunday drivers anyone nearby had to watch out for -- she's reckless!!  After riding for a bit, we had to stop and play for a while too, where she braved the climbing wall. 

Itching

We are just itching to get out and dig in the dirt around here. After the amazing weather last week, we really got the planting bug, so today we started our tomato seeds. Now we just have to hope Cleo doesn't get too interested in them before they get a chance to make it out to the garden in several weeks!
