First Day of School
Eva G started pre-school today!
Hard to believe she's already so grown up. That January morning 4 1/2 years ago was so scary and we had no idea what the future held. The doctor said not to expect to hear our little baby cry, but she did. And we should have known then that she'd just continue to do amazing things. So here we are, sending off our curious, wonder-filled girl to pre-school.
And she loved it!!!
There were a few tears when it was time for me to leave. But the teacher said it only lasted about a minute. When I was buckling Eva in the car afterwards, she said, "My school is awesome. I love it!" She then began to count the days until it was time to go back. She goes to a small in-home Montessori three mornings a week. She told Nana on the phone later on that she worked on math and science and that she made some new friends--but she didn't know anyone's name!
Many good things to come on this next adventure.
