Colors

It's neat to see how much Eva has matured and how she is more gentle with the eggs and the whole process this year.

EGG Hunting

EGG hunting for eggs.

She had a great time. We went to a local plant nursery and they had it broken up into age groups, which was really fun. Suddenly, though, Eva G was the big kid! Her group was the 1- 4 group. We had to remind her to be aware of the "little" kids. In a couple of the shots it looks like she's the only one there, but it's just because she went to the area farthest back and got all of the eggs there while most of the kids started at the front part of the area. They actually hid eggs 3 times. It was funny to see the kids go out somewhat slowly the first time, but they had the running part figured out by the second time. It was a great morning to be out finding eggs. March definitely went out like a lamb around here.

she put her head in each of these pots as we waited !?!?!?!

4 years

4 years ago today we brought Eva Grace home from the hospital. She was so tiny and came with so many instructions! :)

Who knew she (and Camry) would be doing this today?

Prayers answered. Amen.

A Little Fix-Up

Eva G needed to do a little fixing up of the ferris wheel today. Obviously she's chosen the correct tool for that job!

Week in Review

We've had a super fun and busy week; we got to spend it at Nana's and had a great time.

Here's some of what we did:

tractor rides

saw new calves (these guys are a few days old, but one was only 12 hours old!)

saw thousands of sandhill cranes

and just enjoyed the sunshine and cool, small-town air

New Territory

We have now entered new territory...painted nails!

Now that Eva G is 4 we decided she could have her nails polished. And since she's stopped biting her nails (which she did for a few months last year), it just seemed like a fun thing for our big 4 year old.

She was very concerned last night in the bath that the polish was going to wash away!
