A year ago we were looking forward to welcoming a new little person into our world. We were full of anticipation and excitement and a little bit of nervousness and wondering if we'd get the whole "being parents" thing figured out. Little did we know that Miss Eva would be joining us so soon after the new year.
2009 was, by far, the most trying year for both Calvin and me. We were pushed to places we never knew existed. We experienced emotions and feelings we didn't know we had. But more importantly, we felt love deeper than anything we could have hoped for. We are most grateful for making it through all of the crazy and hard times and being able to enjoy all of the wonderful and happy times. We look back with fond memories and gratitude.
We look forward to a 2010 with more fun, less stress, and a whole lot more memories to be made. Let's get the party started--ok, that'll wait for another couple of weeks!!! :)
