He was sitting on the steps of the porch as we were getting ready to leave. Nana found a jar, we got a delphinium leaf and a couple drops of water and brought him home with us. Eva was very excited and checked on him several times on the drive home. This morning we thought we should give him a new leaf, so I pulled a lilac leaf and Eva pulled a leaf from one of the pepper plants in the garden. After I told her those were off limits, we put them both in the jar and watched as Mr. Caterpillar began chomping on the pepper leaf. The lilac leaf still remains untouched. Guess we know what leaves aren't off limits after all. He is fun to watch and gets going pretty fast in his jar sometimes. So, we'll watch and wait and see what this little guy does and in the meantime we're learning lots about caterpillars.
This is the story of our little girl who was born at 28 weeks 5 days, weighing just 2lbs 3oz. This is her journey and all of her adventures as she grows up.
